Plan your production now for this fall (or next spring) as part of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The earliest productions will be considered as Premieres and may be advertised as such – 2026, or next year – 2027). Also, remember, November 22, 2028, will mark the 65th anniversary of JFK’s assassination.

In my academic career, I directed numerous college theatrical productions - everything from "The Odd Couple” to “Antigone" (including three of his own plays), He is also the author of two award-winning books – a mystery novel and a collection of poetry. A widower, Jewell is a native Nashvillian and Tennessean. He currently resides in Texas.

I'm an old guy who loves reading and writing. Since I retired from my career as an international spy for a secret federal agency (uhhh, check that), I've been writing a lot. I publish my books — plays, mystery novels, poems, literary fiction, and political satires — on Amazon. Here, on my website, you'll find descriptions of those books and links to Amazon.

My latest book is actually a script for a ceremonial play -- "John F. Kennedy: Light the World (A Ceremonial Play with Photos and Songs.) The play and the Photo + Songs  Keepsake Edition honors the memory of 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. For readers who desire the full experience, a download, a flash drive, or a CD of the music is available.
